Vintage Thingie Thursday

I am late (still no computer but it is getting closer to home, in the trunk of oldest DD's car and it should be here TOMORROW) anyway, here is my Vintage thingie for this week, this is my ANTIQUE (From the 1890's) Doll Quilt, it is hanging in my sewing room because I don't want to let the dolls have it, they will sit on it in their rocking chairs, this way it is there for everyone to see. My BFF (Toni) got it for me at a flea market for $15.00 including the hanger!!!!!!!!!! WOW, I am going junking with her from now on. LOL. LOVE IT and couldn't think of anywhere else I would rather see it. :) Jeanne

What a special little doll quilt. Doll quilts really tug at the heart - makes you wonder the story behind them. Sally

Thanks for stopping by. That is not my house and in fact I have a post about it. It is in a Nevada State Park and is a ghost town. I do live in the desert and in fact the Hiway department was burning tumble weeds on the side of the road today but my house has plumbing, insulation and other nice things.

Your quilts are lovely. I am a big time quilter and it is my favorite thing to do.

Love your doll quilt. I wouldn't let the dolls use it either. They might spill tea from their tea party on it. =)

I'm sure you will be glad to have your computer back. EGADS! It had been a long time.
