My uncle owned a feed store and we lived on a farm. My mom had an old fashioned treadmill Singer sewing machine. We loved our pretty dresses. You are lucky to have such a nice collection. The picture of the 2 boys are...the one in back is my Brother Jim, he is 76 now and has Parkinsons and our Cousin, he passed last year at age 77.<BR/>My brother and I were talking last week about how Mom and Dad would go to town and buy groceries every two weeks when he got paid and Mom would buy the sacks of flour to get the material. She would try to collect the same ones she already had so she could make her dresses out of them. When my 2 sisters and I came along she used them to make us dresses.
